participants through the 'What does what' portion of the training session. Every participant took mandatory training, and were checked out on the sled before hitting the trails.

The response was overwhelming with more than 600 on-line applications, plus dozens more who qualified through contests held by our media partners across the province.
Through the month of February 2008, we took 377 riders, (more than half had NEVER riden a sled) on the ride of a lifetime.
We visted 8 Ontario Communities and gave our "newbies" a REAL 'hands on' ride.
We're already planning for next year's event, and we will be keeping ALL of this year's on-line applications, for next year's tour recruitment.
